Renal Racing

The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) conducts outreach talks in educational institutions to inform youths about the importance of maintaining good kidney health. A key problem faced by the outreach team is the lack of interest of students in the topic of kidney health and their short-term retention of the knowledge they gained during the talks. To address this problem, our team developed Renal Racing, a multiplayer racing game where players will be tested on their knowledge of kidney health as they outmanoeuvre their competitors on the race track. The integration of education and play in Renal Racing will ensure that students can tie their interest in games to the lessons they learnt in the NKF talks, leading to more effective educational outcomes.
