This campaign raises awareness about the risks of improper or long-term use of topical steroid creams, which are commonly misused without medical guidance in Singapore. The initiative addresses gaps in patient knowledge and the need for accessible educational resources by using a three-part strategy: comic strips, infographics, and real patient stories. Comic strips employ the Entertainment-Education Approach to engage audiences through relatable narratives, fostering emotional and cognitive involvement. Infographics utilize the Elaboration Likelihood Model to present evidence-based information in an appealing and easily digestible format, catering to both detailed and quick learners. Real patient stories, guided by Social Cognitive Theory, highlight successful transitions to healthier practices, motivating behavior change through relatable experiences and positive modeling.
